1. Initiative Overview: The First Medium-Scale Human Brain Research With Real, Unfakeable Data

We are the first researchers to study the human brain and behavior at medium scale using real, longitudinal session data—not one-off questionnaires that can be faked.

Until now, Zerdium had not collected structured behavioral datasets, and traditional psychology has relied on university questionnaires, clinical interviews, or short lab tests where participants consciously fake their answers for 15 minutes to look normal or socially acceptable. We are launching this program soon via Opt-In Remote Access Telemetry—where consenting volunteer participants run authorized remote-session telemetry over extended periods so we can observe natural, unfakeable behavior in real time:

  • Observing Natural Activity, Public Speech & Reactions (LGBTQ+ & Comparison Cohorts): Through opt-in longitudinal remote sessions and public community datasets, we observe what consenting participants naturally do once the "test performance" reflex fades—what content they engage with, their natural way of talking in public/study channels, and how they react in real time to high-pressure situations.
  • Game Choices Based on Mentality: Observing across consenting participant sessions how a person's mentality shapes which video games they choose and how they play.
  • Testing Sickness vs. Mental Discovery: Using longitudinal behavioral observations to evaluate whether specific reaction patterns are linked to an underlying psychological trouble/distress or another form of cognitive adaptation.
  • Advancing Science, Support Datasets & Medical Help Worldwide: Building a real-world behavioral dataset (under informed participant consent and anonymization) that will advance science and provide a true foundation for help, psychological support, and medical assistance across the world.

2. Opt-In Remote Session Telemetry, GameBanana 2025 (FNF) & The Loneliness Factor

A central pillar of the upcoming dataset is opt-in longitudinal remote access telemetry—observing how consenting volunteers actually behave over days or weeks when they are no longer faking answers for a short clinical questionnaire.

Field Baselines: GameBanana 2025 (FNF) & Internal Member Case Study

Prior to launching our medium-scale opt-in Remote Access dataset, two concrete observations established our baseline:

  1. GameBanana 2025 (Public Friday Night Funkin' Community — ~80% LGBTQ+):
    • Acting "Tough" When Confronted With Objective Facts: In public community discussions and disputes, subjects adopt a confrontational posture even when presented with verifiable facts or clear contradictions.
    • Immediately Citing Personal Trouble or Sickness: The moment their argument is refuted in a debate, they consistently bring up their own psychological trouble or sickness—indicating a strong correlation between this defensive posture and underlying psychological distress.
  2. Loneliness & Lack of Life Objective (Voluntary Internal Member Case Study):
    • Through a voluntary case study with one of our own members, we observed that for some individuals (both male and female), identity shifts can be strongly driven by social isolation, loneliness, and a lack of clear life objectives.

What We Observe via Opt-In Remote Sessions (Starting Soon)

When consenting volunteers participate in a remote-telemetry study session, we analyze four core behavioral dimensions:

  1. Natural Activity & Interests: Observing consenting participants' day-to-day digital habits—which communities they engage with, what media they consume, and how they allocate their attention.
  2. Natural Psycholinguistics: Analyzing how participants naturally type and structure their language in study channels and public discussions.
  3. Real-Time Reaction Telemetry: Measuring how participants react during competitive or high-pressure situations (such as shifting from confrontational posture to citing personal distress when challenged).
  4. Distress, Loneliness, or Cognitive Adaptation?: Combining longitudinal session telemetry to evaluate whether specific patterns stem from underlying psychological distress, from social isolation and lack of life purpose, or represent a distinct cognitive pattern.

3. People's Game Choices Based on Mentality

Another key part of the dataset uses opt-in Remote Access telemetry to study how people choose their video games based on their mentality:

  • Mentality & Game Selection: By observing consenting participants' game launches and playtime patterns, we map how a person's mentality pushes them toward specific genres—whether rhythm/modding games (FNF), comfort/progression games, or high-stress competitive shooters.
  • In-Game Behavior & Reactions: Observing how participants react to losing, grinding, or interacting with other players based on their mindset and emotional state.

4. Summary of Study Variables (Starting Soon)

Because every session is conducted with explicit opt-in participant consent (combined with public community psycholinguistics), here is what the program measures:

Target / ObservationCollection MethodWhat Is MeasuredResearch Question / Finding

5. Advancing Science, Support Datasets & Medical Help in the World

Every previous psychological or neurological study on these topics has relied on short tests that can be faked—surveys, self-reports, and staged clinical interviews where subjects alter their answers to control how they are perceived. We are the first researchers to study the human brain at medium scale using real, longitudinal behavioral data via opt-in Remote Access telemetry—observing consenting participants' natural language use, real reactions under pressure, and real game-choice behavior over time.

By capturing how people genuinely act, how loneliness and lack of life purpose affect their mentality, and why they invoke personal distress under pressure, this anonymized dataset will directly advance science and build a real-world foundation for psychological support and medical help across the world—replacing self-report guesswork with empirical behavioral evidence.
